Internal fire doors are not cheap, this is due to the fact that they need to pass a raft of fire door regulations.
Depending on the requirements the fire doors will be passed as either FD30 fire door or FD60 fire doors. FD30 related to the time that the door is able to withstand the flames, FD30 fire doors are generally 35mm thick whilst the longer lasting FD 60 fire doors will often be thicker ie 40-45mm and will possible be make from different fire door material.
Fire door prices will generally be reflected by the fire rating, whether the door has (or requires) a fireproof frame. Fire door frames often come with their own rating and may be purchased separately with the door or together.
